About employer and position:
We are a well-funded German fintech company that develops the European open payroll API. Our product enables consumers to easily access and share their salary and employment information with third parties such as banks, insurance companies, lenders, and others at the click of a button. Our goal is to help businesses build the best consumer experiences in the fintech world that require income information.

We are looking for a Middle Back-end Engineer that will contribute to our tech stack in a substantial way and will work alongside our CTO and tech core team. We are building the first version of our API and toolkit so you will take part in everything from setting of the infrastructure up until the deliver of the full product.
  • Integrate different sources of information (PDF, APIs, documents, ...) in our system.
  • Creating a top API infrastructure for our customers.
  • Research new solutions to build a top-notch platform.
  • Support the team in building a reliable and stable infrastructure.
  • 3+ years of experience with Node.js .
  • Be willing to work with scraping.
  • Able to develop backend projects that are integrated in our infrastructure.
  • Familiar with developing services in AWS or similar cloud providers.
  • Willingness to solve hard and challenging problems.
  • Integrating external APIs.
  • Experience in Serverless architectures is a plus.
  • Experience in scraping websites is a plus.
  • Experience with OCR is a plus.
  • FinTech and SaaS development experience is a plus.
