Responsibilities:
- Architect and develop core blockchain components and protocols, optimizing for performance, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including cryptographers, developers, and network engineers, to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
- Drive architectural decisions for the blockchain ecosystem, with a focus on network consensus, transaction lifecycles, and security.
- Maintain a hands-on approach to coding and code review, particularly in C/C++.
- Conduct in-depth research and testing to ensure adherence to best practices in blockchain and distributed systems design.
- Lead team members, contributing to a culture of technical excellence.
Requirements:
Extensive C/C++ experience (preferably working with low-level systems).
- 10+ years of backend experience (preferably with C/C++, Rust, Golang, Zig).
- Recent 5 years of C/C++ experience working on high-performance, highly scalable solutions.
- Demonstrated leadership in blockchain projects, with experience designing and implementing core blockchain technologies.
- Network consensus algorithms (BFT, RAFT, etc);
- Blockchain consensus algorithms (PoW, PoS, PoA, etc.);
- Scalability↔correctness tradeoffs;
- Transaction lifecycle, security, and cryptographic principles.
- Proven experience designing and/or integrating distributed systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently, with a self-sufficient and proactive approach.
Nice to have:
- Deep understanding of TON’s monorepo.
- Decent understanding of TON Services (TON DNS, TON Proxy, TON Payments, TON Storage) and how they interact with the main node(blockchain).
- Experience with Golang.
- Experience with Rust.
- Experience in writing smart contracts with funC, solidity, or any other smart contract language.
- Experience in developing and releasing any part of a blockchain.
- Experience with quantum-resistant cryptographic algorithms.
